A warm, refined home built around indoor–outdoor living, natural textures, and a generous terrace garden.
From Vision to Completion. Since 1999.
Interior Architecture & Turnkey Interiors for homes, villas, offices, and public spaces.
A woman-led, family-built studio in Hyderabad. For 27 years we have carried turnkey interiors and interior architecture from the first idea to a finished, handed-over space.
The Studio
Kozy Design Studio designs homes and spaces around the way people actually live. Founded as Kozy Interiors in 1999 and renamed Kozy Design Studio in 2015, it is a woman-led, family-built practice with 27 years of work behind it. We care as much about how a space lives day to day as about how it looks.
We design and deliver turnkey, staying involved from the first drawing to the final site visit. As a family-built practice, we coordinate the vendors and supervise the work ourselves, so the space that is handed over is the one that was actually planned.

Capabilities
Kozy Design Studio brings planning, interior architecture, detailing, materials, execution, site coordination, and handover into one clear process. Whether the project begins as bare land, an empty shell, an old home, a villa, an apartment, or a commercial space, the studio carries every layer with one accountable team.
One studio. Every layer.
From the first discussion to the final handover, Kozy keeps the full journey connected under one team.
01Plan
Spatial planning is where the project becomes practical before it becomes beautiful. Kozy studies how people move through the space, where daylight enters, how rooms connect, where storage is needed, and how privacy should be handled. For homes, this means understanding daily routines, family habits, vastu-sensitive needs, furniture placement, and long-term comfort. For offices and commercial spaces, it means circulation, teams, visitors, service areas, and workflow. The aim is a plan that feels natural to use and clear enough to execute on site, so later stages of design and construction move forward without confusion or expensive changes.
Interior architecture is the built structure of the space, not only what sits inside it. Kozy works on walls that move or come down, ceiling levels, openings, partitions, flooring transitions, and the proportions of each room. These decisions are resolved in drawings first, with our team and your structural consultant, before work starts on site. Getting them right early shapes how a space feels to stand in and how well later layers such as furniture, lighting, and finishes will sit. It also keeps site work clear, so masons, electricians, and carpenters follow one plan instead of improvising as they go.
Renovating a lived-in home or a running business is harder than building from a blank slate, and Kozy treats it that way. We begin by studying what already exists: the structure, the services, what is worth keeping, and what is holding the space back. From there we plan the changes around your routine and phase the work so daily life or business carries on with as little disruption as possible. Older layouts are reworked to suit how you live or operate now, with updated services, storage, and finishes, without forcing a full teardown unless the space genuinely needs one.
02Build
Turnkey execution means one studio carries the project from the first drawing to the final handover. Design, costing, material selection, vendors, carpentry, civil work, electrical, plumbing, and finishing all sit with Kozy under one plan and one timeline. You work with a single accountable team and one point of contact, instead of coordinating separate contractors who often pass responsibility between them. We schedule the trades in the right order, hold quality at each stage, and keep the budget and drawings aligned as the site progresses. The result is a finished, working space delivered without the gaps that usually open up between design and construction.
Kitchens and wardrobes are used every single day, so they are designed around how you actually live. For kitchens, Kozy plans the work triangle, counter heights, storage for appliances and provisions, and ventilation, so cooking stays comfortable and clean. For wardrobes, we plan hanging, folding, and accessory storage around your clothing and daily routine. Hardware, shutters, and finishes are chosen for years of real use, not only for looks, and everything is built to your exact dimensions. That means no wasted gaps, no awkward corners, and no fittings that loosen early. The fit stays precise because the sizes are made for your space.
The last stretch of a project is where most timelines and quality slip, so Kozy stays on site through it. We coordinate vendors and trades in sequence, check work against the approved drawings, and catch defects early while they are still easy to fix. Before handover, we run a thorough snag list covering finishes, fittings, electrical points, plumbing, and joinery, and close each item properly rather than leaving it for later. You receive a clean, finished, fully working space with everything tested and in place, not a near-complete site with pending work that drags on after you have moved in.
03Detail
When ready-made pieces will not suit the room or the brief, Kozy designs and builds its own. Beds, storage units, panelling, vanities, wardrobes, seating, and tables are drawn to fit the exact space and made by carpenters we have worked with for years. Designing furniture in-house means proportions, materials, and storage are planned together with the room, not forced around whatever was available in the market. We match finishes and detailing to the rest of the interior so nothing looks added on later. The result is joinery that uses the space well, lasts through daily use, and feels made for the home it sits in.
Materials and light decide how a finished space actually feels to live in. Kozy selects stone, veneer, laminate, tile, paint, hardware, and fittings against real samples seen in your own light, not from catalogue images that rarely match the room. Lighting is planned layer by layer, with general, task, and accent light considered for each space rather than added at the end. Choices are made early and documented clearly, so what reaches the site is what you approved and the budget stays predictable. Practical wear, cleaning, and how surfaces age are weighed alongside appearance, so the finishes hold up well over years of use.
04Sectors
Villas, large family homes, and premium apartments are the work Kozy knows best. We start with how the family actually lives: where everyone gathers, how guests move through the home, what each member needs, and how the space should work through the day. From there we plan layouts, size wardrobes and storage to each room, fit the kitchen to how you cook, and detail every room so it is comfortable and easy to maintain. Materials and finishes are chosen for real family use, not only for photographs. The aim is a home that feels calm and practical to live in, and holds up over the years.
Workplaces and commercial spaces have to perform before they impress. Kozy plans around headcount, departments, meeting needs, reception, storage, and quiet zones, so the space supports how the business actually runs. We design for daily wear and easy maintenance, and reflect how the company wants to be seen by staff and visitors. Services such as electrical, networking, air-conditioning, and lighting are planned into the layout from the start, not patched in later. Where a business is operating during the work, we phase and coordinate the site so disruption stays low. The result is a practical, durable environment that works hard and represents the brand well.
Venues, lounges, and public interiors carry heavy footfall, so they are designed to stay composed under constant use. For large-format spaces such as SVL Arena, Kozy plans circulation for crowds, clear sightlines, entry and exit flow, and service routes that keep operations smooth. Materials and finishes are specified to withstand heavy daily traffic and frequent cleaning without looking worn. Lighting and acoustics are planned around how the space is used and how it should feel at different times of day. Durability, safety, and maintenance are considered alongside the look, so the space performs well on opening day and keeps holding up long after.
Healthcare interiors answer to hygiene, patient comfort, and staff workflow before anything else. On projects such as Remedy Hospitals, Kozy plans clean and efficient circulation for patients, staff, and visitors, with clear wayfinding that is easy to follow under stress. Surfaces are chosen to be durable and easy to clean, and waiting and consultation areas are designed to feel calm rather than clinical. We work within medical, safety, and code requirements, coordinating with the equipment and services these spaces depend on. The aim is an environment that supports care and daily operations, stays practical for the people who use it, and never feels cold.
Process
We understand the client, lifestyle, requirement, budget, and timeline before anything is drawn.
We read the site and resolve layout, zoning, and circulation around how the space will be used.
We set the direction: the mood, materials, colour, and light that give the space its character.
We detail drawings, furniture, finishes, lighting, and civil requirements into a buildable design.
We lock specifications, vendors, and costs so execution stays true to design and budget.
We supervise site work, vendors, and progress, holding quality through every stage of the build.
We complete with finishing and styling, then hand over a space ready to be lived in.

The Founder
Founder & Chief Designer
With more than 27 years of practice, Sudha Moola has worked across homes, offices, public buildings, and hospitality spaces. She began with modular kitchens and residential interiors and moved into full turnkey projects, and she still leads the design on every job. Her work pays close attention to how a family uses a space, to proportion and materials, and to getting the details built correctly on site. As Founder and Chief Designer, she remains the principal creative force behind Kozy Design Studio.
The People
The family and team behind the studio: the people who built its foundation, run its sites, and carry the work forward.
Early Proprietorship Support — Kozy Interiors & Inway Interiors
Moola Subrahmanyam supported the early foundation of Kozy Interiors and Inway Interiors, providing the family business structure through which Sudha Moola's design work could grow. His role belongs to the supportive roots of the journey; the creative direction and design identity of the studio were led by Sudha Moola.
Operations & Project Execution Lead
T. Sai Kiran runs much of the on-site side of the studio: project coordination, vendor and labour management, solving problems on site, and keeping work on schedule and to standard. He is the link between the drawings and what actually gets built.
Business Director
Purna Saatvik leads the business side of Kozy Design Studio: client communication, brand presence, vendor coordination, and growth into new projects. His role brings structure and a modern business outlook to the studio while carrying forward the design legacy built by Sudha Moola.
1999 — Today
Twenty-seven years of family-led work, from a small residential practice in 1999 to large homes, offices, and public spaces today.
Sudha Moola started Kozy Interiors with homes. The early years went into residential interiors, learning closely from real families, real sites, and the way people actually live in and use their spaces day to day.
Spectra, a 30,000 sft office and public-space project, moved the studio into larger work. Bigger projects brought more structure: detailed drawings, tighter timelines, more coordination, and the discipline that large-scale execution needs.
The practice became more organised as Inway Interiors. This chapter built real execution strength: steady site handling, a reliable network of vendors and skilled labour, and a way of working that held up from one project to the next.
The Sakshi Office project, around 22,000 sft, gave the studio a large-format workplace to plan and deliver. Working at that scale built confidence in circulation, workplace planning, and running a big site from drawings through to finish.
A collaboration with Team One India Pvt. Ltd. opened heritage, institutional, and public work. Through projects such as Paigah Palace, the studio gained experience with larger environments, older buildings, and the care they ask for.
The work spread across premium homes, offices, showrooms, healthcare spaces, and custom interiors. Each project added to the studio's range: more materials, more site situations, and a clearer sense of how to match a design to how people use a space.
The studio took its current name, Kozy Design Studio, with Sudha Moola leading the design. By now the work covered the full path from planning and interior architecture through to turnkey execution and handover.
The studio took on premium homes and villas alongside offices, healthcare, hospitality, and public spaces. The focus stayed the same: comfortable, well-planned interiors, detailed properly and built to last.
Today Kozy Design Studio is a woman-led, family-built practice with 27 years behind it: more than 10 lakh sft of homes and over 6 lakh sft of offices and public spaces. The way of working has not changed. Plan it properly, build it well, and hand over a space that is ready to live in.
